Reviews and Ratings
I absolutely loved my stay at the ryokan. The rooms were decent, the food was so-so, but I cannot say enough good things about the amazing staff. The view from my room on the top floor overlooking the steps up to the temple was truly special, especially during the winter time.
I absolutely loved my stay at the ryokan! The rooms were decent, the food was so-so, but overall, I adored the place because of the fantastic staff. The view from my room on the top floor overlooking the temple steps was breathtaking. It was my first time experiencing a Japanese room, and it was both adequate and a wonderful experience. The room was big and very nicely decorated.
Staying at the ryokan was a unique experience that offered decent rooms with a lovely view of the temple steps, perfect for first-timers to Japanese rooms. The service was exceptional, from the warm welcome to thoughtful explanations in English. The location, right near the famous Yubatake, was convenient despite the chilly mornings. While the dining experience was good for breakfast, it lacked a bit in variety. Overall, a great value for those seeking a taste of Japanese tradition.
My stay at the hotel was a nice experience overall. The Japanese-style room was average and provided a good introduction to this style of accommodation, although not booking a superior suite affected the overall feel. The service was excellent despite the language barrier, with the staff going out of their way to assist us. The location was convenient, being very close to the Yubatake and other attractions. The dining options were satisfactory, and the facilities met our needs during the stay.
I absolutely love this place! The rooms are big and very nice, the staff is great, but the rooms can get slightly overheated and too dried. The location is perfect, conveniently close to the Yubatake in the center of Kusatsu Onsen town. Dining was a great way to kickstart the day. Overall, a fantastic stay with a few minor drawbacks.
Staying at the ryokan was a unique experience with adequate rooms and great views of the temple steps. The service was exceptional despite language barriers, and the location was near various attractions, though washing up in the cold could be uncomfortable. The dining options were decent, and the facilities met expectations.
I absolutely loved my stay at this ryokan! The rooms were spacious and very cozy, with a heated sitting table during the day and thick, comfortable futons at night. The service was top-notch, despite the language barrier, the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The location couldn't be better, right near the Yubatake and conveniently close to the city center and other onsens. The dining experience was a great way to start the day, and the facilities were excellent. However, the language barrier may be a slight inconvenience for those who don't speak Japanese, and the dining might not cater to all tastes.
I had a great experience at this hotel. The rooms were excellent, with a heated sitting table during the day and thick comfortable futons at night. The staff was amazing, making us feel so welcome. The location was perfect, very close to the city center and other onsen in the city. The dining was also a great way to start the day. Overall, a fantastic stay with top-notch service, onsen, and food.
Staying at the hotel was a unique experience for us as we had never tried a Japanese room before. The room was comfortable and big enough for our needs, even though it was just the standard room and not a superior suite. The location was perfect, very close to the city center and other onsens in the area, making it convenient for exploring. The service was excellent, despite the language barrier, with friendly staff helping us navigate through our stay. The dining options were good overall, offering a variety of dishes to kickstart the day. The facilities were adequate and provided everything we needed during our time there.
I had a pleasant stay at the ryokan. The room, although average and normal in Japanese style, had a fantastic view overlooking the temple steps. The heated sitting table during the day and cozy futons at night made it an excellent choice. However, it would have been nice to book a superior suite for a more luxurious experience.
